Apni khabar na lainda moorakh lokan nun samjhanda ey;
Vekho banda juye andar janam haarda janda ey. Sachya sahiba bakhsh lai is bande bhullan vale nun; Charnan naal lagai rakkhin maya de matwale nun. Aap kade koi paar nahin Honda eh chahe tan berha paar; Avtar guru di sharni pai ke banda lainda janam sanwaar. |

The imprudent does not care to know about himself, but advises others;
Look at man, he goes on losing human life in gamble. O' True Lord, forgive this man who is errant by nature; Keep him clung to Thy sacred feet, he is enamoured of the world of materialism. None can ever transcend the ocean of materialism on his own, but this can happen if God so wills; Avtar says, man can make his life purposeful by seeking the shelter of the True Master. |
Meaning
The Foolish does not care to know about himself, but advises others. Look at man, how he is losing human life in gamble. O' True Lord, forgive this man who is sinful by nature. Keep him retained to your holy feet, he is infatuated of the world of materialism. With blessing of God one can ever exceed the ocean of materialism and not on his own. Baba Avtar Singh ji says, man can make his life purposeful by seeking the shelter of the True Master.
